It's great having GoCardless and TeamUp working together. You set the system up, people pay online. End of the month, for us, it's great. It's a simple system: people come in, they give their email address, you give them the link, it's all done in one go. It's very easy in terms of sorting the money out. You set up your bank details with them, and for us, most people are on memberships, so they take money out of our customers' accounts on the start of each month. Then, within a few days, the money hits our account. If someone new comes in at the middle of the month, TeamUp and GoCardless sort it out for us and the money just comes in.
Whenever we've had any questions or issues, the team have come back to me within that day. They'll either help you out, do it for you, or show you how to do it. It's really great.

If I have any drama ever, which I rarely do, I can get a hold of someone from the team right away. A lot of the other companies that do this kind of software, it's hard to get hold of them.
When we first started, I was worried about having to transition all the data over from the initial system that we were using. We had thousands of clients in our database and I was afraid of having to manually move them all over. But the TeamUp support did that all for us. All we had to do was send our clients an email and they could just register themselves. That was very helpful.
On-going support at TeamUp is great. I can just have a live chat with someone in the system, and they'll get bak to you right away. If there's ever a problem, I know I can get it fixed right away, and talk to someone as well, which is really important.
Being able to see how many class packs people have left is really helpful. Everything is tracked, and the reports are really good. But for me, the best part is the actual booking system; people being able to book into classes without having to contact us, without having any issues. It lets us get on with the teaching side of things without us having to spend too much time booking people in, cancelling people, and worrying about that.

There is no long term commitment or contract. You pay month by month, based on your usage. TeamUp’s pricing automatically scales up or down based on the number of active customers in the previous month.
Pricing adjusts based on how many active customers you have. If you go through a period where you have less active customers your plan will automatically reflect your usage. You can have unlimited customers in your account, we only count the active customers who have booked or made a purchase in the previous month.

An active customer is someone who has a registration or purchases something from your business during the month. A customer is only ever counted once, regardless of how many times they attend or purchase.
